Heavenly Spring Pavilion
  1. Heavenly Spring Pavilion

  • Attraction Name: Heavenly Spring Pavilion

  • Location: East Garden

  • Construction Category: Pavilion

It is an octagonal pavilion with multiple high eaves. The external part is a stately winding corridor. Between pillars are benches. The pavilion is surrounded by lawns, flowers and trees. To the north of the Pavilion is a slight slope with lush woods. The reason why the pavilion is called “Heavenly Spring Pavilion” is that there is an ancient well in the center of its floor which was the relics of Dahong Temple in the Yuan Dynasty according to legend. This well does not dry up throughout the year and the water is sweet, so it is called “Heavenly Spring”.
